    <description>A PDF can be saved by appending the changes or by rewriting the whole file. OpenPdfEdit appends almost every edit, which keeps the original bytes and any digital signature intact. Redaction is the exception, because an appended save would keep a copy of the text you removed one revision back. This is how each path works, and what each one costs.</description>
